Technology Creates an Authentic
Sound Field
ECLIPSE created the worlds first car-use
DSP sound processor using DSP (Digital
Signal Processing) technology to faithfully
and accurately simulate the complicated
acoustic dispersion patterns of real sound
fields. Thanks to technology and data based
on our comprehensive on site analysis of the
architectural and acoustic characteristics of
three types of sound dispersion (direct,
early-reflected and late-reflected) in concert
hall, live music house, cathedral, stadium and
club soundfields, the DSP sound processor can
recreate these soundfields in a car.
Soundfield Configurations
Five factory-presets offer separate and distinct
acoustical simulations. In addition, their
parameters (level & time for early-reflected
sound and late-reflected sound) can be varied
incrementally, and the new parameters can be
stored in 6 user-preset memories. Moreover,
the factory settings can be recalled to their
default values at any time.
