Data Flow Diagram for the file CUSTS

The objects with blue colour outline and marking are the ones which do not belong to the application

area ‘MVCPROCESS’ and are referred to as ‘External’ objects.

External Objects

When working with an application area, the X-Analysis takes it into account for every further action.

The objects with the blue colour outline on data flow diagram are the ‘External’ objects. This means

that these objects do use/relate to the main data flow diagram object but do not belong to the selected

application area ‘MVCPROCESS’ in this case. Hover over these objects to see the application areas

they belong to.

The picture shows that the program ‘CON001 – Contract Entry’ belongs to the application areas A2A,

ORDERS and PLAN.
